Fleetwood Mac back

Fleetwood Mac will record a new album and play live dates next year, they have revealed. The legendary rock act are expected to reconvene in January to begin work on their first material since 2003's "Say You Will". The news was announced by Lindsey Buckingham, who is about to release his latest solo album, in a new interview. However, he says there are currently no plans for Sheryl Crow to join the band, following much speculation earlier this year. Speaking about the latest Mac reformation, Buckingham told Billboard the itinerary is currently being put together, with rehearsals due at the start of 2009. On the subject of Crow, he said the idea of her becoming part of the touring group had "just kind of lost its momentum". Buckingham releases his new album, "Gift Of Screws", on September 16.
