Mariah Carey is planning to go on the road later in 2008, she has revealed. The US pop superstar yesterday confirmed a September appearance at the Fashion Rocks event in New York City. She is also scheduled to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles that month and is now also in talks about a full tour. The live jaunt is expected to showcase material from her new album, "E=Mc2" and will apparently be "elaborate". Mariah explained: "We're looking at November right now. Please don't hold me accountable if it turns out to be December 5th or December 7th or January 18th." "I like elaborate. We only do substantial. That's what my jeweller says.
