Kanye West is to star in a documentary about the Iraq war, it has been confirmed. The US rapper will visit veterans from the conflict and discuss their experiences for the MTV show. He will co-present the programme alongside Sway Colloway, as the pair bid to find out how the soldiers are coping with their return from the frontline. Speaking about the show, West explained: "There are hundreds of veterans out there who are falling through the cracks. "They make the ultimate sacrifices for us by laying down their lives, but it seems like a lot of them just get forgotten about. "'I know my music inspires and helps a lot of people but you can always do more", continued Kanye. "I teamed up with MTV and took the opportunity to share the spotlight with these veterans and hear their stories." "Choose Or Lose & Kanye West Present: Homecoming" will go out on MTV on July 28.
